ToneCarver has released Delay8, a free delay VST effect plugin for Windows. Delay8 has eight individual modulated delay lines which may be combined in serial or parallel chains. Each delay line has individual modulation, EQ, and panning. Global scaling knobs adjust the overall character of the effect. Stereo in, stereo out. Good for choruses, diffusion. May 30, 2011 Bill Davies has released an alpha version of ToneCarver Nova 3, a generative sequencer inspired by Otomata (by Batuhan Bozkurt) that uses cellular automata to generate emergent sequences of midi notes. The idea is that a set of rovers move through a matrix of cells until they encounter a wall, another rover, or an obstacle. This VST is more than a one trick pony, but it has his place in this list. This was a post I created back in 2015 because I was getting messages from people asking me if I know any good free VST Instruments and Effects. I’ve been wanting to update this post for a very long time, and now it has finally been updated.
I managed to make a list of the best free VST plugins in 2019 and some of them don’t even deserve to be free because they sound really good. I wouldn’t recommend you to download them all, instead choose the ones you know you really need.
